Clare Certified as LY Teacher
This September, Clare sojourned to Chicago (Oswago, actually) where she attended a Laughter Yoga Teacher training with American School of Laughter Yoga founder Sebastien Gendry. Through completion of the program, Clare became a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher, able to train new LY Leaders.
There are two levels of LY certification; LY Leaders are trained to run LY sessions and groups while LY Teachers are trained to train Leaders. Clare was certified as a Leader in 2008 and Alan obtained his Leader credentials in 2011. With Clare's new certification Cape Cod Laughter Yoga is now able to hold teacher trainings. The next training will be on March 16th and 17th, 2013.
Sebastien Gendry, Clare's teacher, was the first American to be trained as a LY Teacher and he is one of only five people authorized by Dr. Kataria to train LY Teachers. Sebastien has been instrumental in the development of LY in the US.

Falmouth Laughter Circle
Experience the joys and healthful benefits of laughter in a warm and welcoming community!
The Falmouth Laughter Circle is free and open to all on a drop-in basis. Meetings are held every Monday beginning promptly at 9:27 AM and ending at 10:07 AM. From ten to twenty laughers typically attend. No special equipment or clothing is required to participate.
From September through June, the Circle meets at the Gus Canty Community Center at 790 Main Street in downtown Falmouth, MA. In July and August, to take full advantage of the wonderful Cape Cod Summer weather, the group moves outdoors to the Bandshell in Marine Park. The Bandshell is located at 180 Scranton Avenue, overlooking Falmouth Harbor.

History:
Falmouth Laughter Circle was founded in October of 2008 by Clare and Alan Goodwin. The group has been meeting weekly ever since.
The Circle began at the Inkwell Bookstore on Main Street. When Inkwell closed its doors early in 2010, the group found a temporary home at the Falmouth Jewish Community. In Fall of 2010 they moved to their present location at the Gus Canty Community Center.
Beginning in the Summer of 2011, the Circle has met outdoors at the Falmouth Bandshell during the months of July and August.
